A Watchmaker’s Bench That Adapts to the User – Not the Other Way Around
Every watchmaker works differently. Workflows, tools and personal preferences vary from one workstation to another. That is why the UNIQUE MASTER was not developed as a standard model, but as a highly configurable watchmaker’s bench that can be individually tailored to the specific requirements of its user.
Size, materials and equipment can all be selected freely. This creates a workstation solution that integrates seamlessly into existing workshops, service centres or manufacturing facilities. At the same time, the bench retains its modular design, allowing it to be expanded or adapted as requirements evolve.
Whether for assembly, final assembly, quality control, or specialised T1 and T2 workstations, the UNIQUE MASTER can be precisely configured for its intended application, supporting structured and efficient workflows in day-to-day operations.

600 mm Electric Height Adjustment: Greater Flexibility for Different Workflows
Every task performed at a watchmaker’s bench requires a different optimal working height. While assembly or final assembly may call for a different position than inspection work or microscope-based tasks, the workstation should be able to adapt effortlessly to the task at hand. The Solution: the UNIQUE MASTER.
With an electric height adjustment range of 600 mm, the UNIQUE MASTER offers an exceptionally wide adjustment range, a feature available from only a few manufacturers. Height adjustment is powered by two robust T-leg steel columns, each providing a lifting capacity of 400 kg. This ensures outstanding stability, even with extensive equipment, while allowing the workstation to be adjusted comfortably to the desired working height.
Particularly in service centres and manufacturing facilities, where a workstation is shared by several employees or used for different production processes, the extended adjustment range provides valuable flexibility. The UNIQUE MASTER can be adapted to the individual needs of each watchmaker within seconds, supporting a wide variety of workflows, from the initial assembly stage through to final inspection.
Compared to many conventional watchmakers’ benches, the 600 mm adjustment range is one of the defining features of the UNIQUE MASTER, making it a versatile solution for modern workstations in the watchmaking industry.
Corian: A Seamless Material Concept for Professional Watchmakers’ Workstations
Material selection plays a central role in the UNIQUE MASTER. While many watchmakers’ benches use Corian exclusively for the worktop, BenchTech has deliberately taken the concept one step further.
In addition to the worktop, the side panels, rear panel and drawer fronts are also manufactured from Corian. The result is a seamless material concept with a premium, uniform appearance throughout the entire workstation.
Corian is a non-porous, low-maintenance material. Its seamless, non-absorbent surface is easy to clean, making it an excellent choice for workstations where the highest levels of precision are required every day.
For this reason, the UNIQUE MASTER in Corian has been developed primarily for watchmakers’ workstations. The material combines functionality with a contemporary design, integrating seamlessly into service centres, manufacturing facilities and workshops.
Combined with its extensive height adjustment, integrated technology and wide range of configuration options, the UNIQUE MASTER is a watchmaker’s bench that sets new standards within the BenchTech product range, both technically and aesthetically.
BenchTech Rail Technique: Intelligent Technology Exactly Where You Need It.
A modern watchmaker’s workstation is far more than just a work surface. Lighting, power supply, monitors, compressed air and other equipment are now essential parts of everyday work. The key is ensuring that all components are intelligently integrated and designed to support an efficient workflow.
This is exactly why the BenchTech Rail Technique was developed. This modular utility rail integrates a wide range of functions directly into the workstation, ensuring that essential connections and accessories are always within easy reach.
The integrated utility rail includes, among other features:
- Waldmann Lighting
- USB Ports
- 230 V Power Outlet
- Monitor Mount
- Biflex Gooseneck Arm
- Two Cable Grommets
All components are seamlessly integrated into the overall design and can be arranged to suit the desired workstation configuration. This keeps the work surface organised while allowing the workstation to be tailored precisely to individual requirements.
Another key difference compared to a conventional watchmaker’s bench is the specially developed technical service channel. While the worktop moves up and down electrically, all electrical wiring and compressed air connections remain securely housed within the bench base. As a result, cables and air lines do not move with the worktop.
This concept offers a significant advantage, particularly when multiple workstations are arranged side by side. Several UNIQUE MASTER benches can be connected in series without creating moving cable loops between the workstations. This simplifies the planning of complete workstation layouts while ensuring a clean, organised and professional installation.
The concept is completed by a centrally integrated main power switch. At the end of the working day, the entire bench can be disconnected from the power supply at the touch of a button. All connected devices are switched off simultaneously, allowing the workstation to be shut down quickly and efficiently.
5D Armrests – Ergonomic Support for Precision Work
Precision work requires steady hands and a comfortable working position. That is why the UNIQUE MASTER is equipped with ergonomic 5D armrests, which can be individually adjusted to suit both the workstation and the personal preferences of the watchmaker.
Thanks to their extensive adjustment options, the armrests can be positioned precisely to provide optimal support for the forearms during a wide range of tasks, from assembling individual components and final assembly to quality control and demanding microscope work.
Together with the electric height adjustment and the thoughtfully integrated workstation layout, this creates a workspace that adapts effortlessly to different tasks. Every watchmaker can configure the UNIQUE MASTER so that tools, lighting and armrests are perfectly tailored to their individual way of working.
The 5D armrests are therefore another key element of the ergonomic design concept, complementing the extensive configuration options of the UNIQUE MASTER.
